Staff Years of Service Awards
Employee Relations administers Staff Service Awards. Benefits-eligible staff employees with .75 FTE (full time equivalency) or greater are eligible to select an award for years of continuous or bridged service to the University in five-year increments. Notices are generally sent to eligible employees the month prior to the anniversary.   Contact Employee Relations at 801-581-5469, with questions.

Staff Excellence Awards
We support the University Staff Excellence Awards (USEA) program which recognizes superior service and ongoing contributions by the University of Utah's full-time staff employees. 

Employee Appreciation Day
Employee Relations is proud to co-sponsor and coordinate Employee Appreciation Day (EAD), an annual celebration of University of Utah Staff and Faculty.  Each year, staff and faculty members are invited to this event, complete with food, entertainment, exhibitors and give-aways.  Please contact us at 801-587-9861 if you would like more information or are interested in being an employee volunteer for the event.
