The following job codes are available for use without the need of a posting.
Any applicant hired with or without a posting is subject to pre-employment checks,
which may include, but is not limited to, criminal background checks
(please see here for pre-employment policies, guidelines and tools:).
A position for which a student is being hired or that is a student position will not require posting if temporary (less than 9 months) or regular and FTE less than .50. A few job codes were created for this purpose: (please use when completing the hire ePAF). (These job codes can only be used if the student is currently enrolled at the University of Utah)
Some additional staff job codes have been identified as outside the scope of the posting requirement. When hiring an applicant without a posting, these job codes can only be used for non-benefited positions (i.e. assignments that are temporary (less than 9 months) and/or below .50 FTE).
